One of Mid Wales’ leading estate agents has revealed it is to team up with one of the UK’s leading mortgage providers to help potential and existing homeowners.

Morris, Marshall and Poole is working with Mortgage Advice Bureau to provide mortgage and protection advice throughout its offices in Powys, Shropshire, Ceredigion and Gwynedd.

Stuart Potts has been appointed by Mortgage Advice Bureau as its local adviser, based at Newtown, but covering each of the offices at Welshpool, Oswestry, Aberystwyth, Machynlleth, Llanidloes and Tywyn.

Stuart said: “I thoroughly enjoy helping people realise their dreams of purchasing a home and am able to offer hopeful house buyers invaluable advice on how best to achieve this.”

“I act on their behalf, guiding them through the whole process and am able to recommend the most appropriate product to suit my customers and their circumstances.  This includes exclusive deals, many of which are not available directly from lenders.”

Andrew Turner, a partner at MMP said: “As one of the leading Mid Wales estate agents we want to ensure we’re providing all of the services our customers expect and that includes mortgage advice if they want it.

“By teaming up with Mortgage Advice Bureau we can direct our clients to advice and information from a qualified adviser about mortgages and protection.”

Mortgage Advice Bureau has access to over 11,000 products from more than 90 lenders, so we can give our customer access to the latest deals available as well as a first-class service.

Stuart continues: “My knowledge of individual lender’s criteria is key to mortgage applications being processed as quickly as possible, which in turn impacts on any potential property purchase, enabling you to move quickly and with the minimum stress possible”.

I can also offer protection products from a choice of insurers to not only give customers peace of mind, but, making sure they are able to keep their home should the unexpected happen.

Good customer service is very important; I manage the application, liaise with lenders, solicitors and Estate Agents throughout to make the process as smooth and stress free as possible.”

To make a no-obligation appointment please call Stuart at Mortgage Advice Bureau at Morris Marshall and Poole telephone 01686 626160, or email information, email stuart.potts1@mab.org.uk

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

There will be a fee for mortgage advice.  The actual amount you pay will depend upon your circumstances.  The fee is up to 1%, but a typical fee is 0.3% of the amount borrowed.
