Free tax seminar in town

Local businesses, individuals and the farming community are being invited to attend an important Breakfast Seminar which will highlight a new change approaching to tax.

Businesses have just over seven months to prepare for Making Tax Digital - a regime that will require keeping digital VAT records – and Baldwins in Welshpool will be hosting the event at Welshpool Livestock Sales on August 7.

“We will guide you through the system and any implications for businesses and individuals, as well as recent opportunities in cloud accounting,” said a spokesperson for Baldwins.

Baldwins have been preparing for Making Tax Digital for the past two years and are now on the final countdown to the first businesses being required to submit tax information online in April 2019.

Steven Kühn, Head of Software Solutions at Baldwins, along with two of the company’s cloud software providers will discuss the various opportunities and the recent developments in the world of cloud accounting.

Free to attend, including breakfast rolls on arrival from 8.30am, the seminar will finish at 11am with the opportunity for further discussion and consultations available with experts from Welshpool, Oswestry and Wrexham.
