Trainee Sales Administrator/Showroom Host

Based at:                             J T Hughes, Pool Road, Newtown, SY16 3BD

Reports to:                          Site Sales Manager

Job Purpose:                      To provide assistance to the Sales Team

 

Hours:                                   Monday – Friday 08.30-6.00pm

                                                Saturday 9.00-5.00pm –

                                                CLOSED SUNDAYS

Key Responsibilities:

J T Hughes Group has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee to join our Sales Team at our Newtown Branch.  

Reporting to the Sales Manager your role will be to assist the Sales Team.  

Your main role will be to fully understand the administrational tasks of a Car Sales Executive.  This will include mirroring a member of the Sales Team and learning the entire Sales Process,  your role will include welcoming customers into the business, proving refreshments and helping to create a warm and professional environment. Your duties will include updating all of the websites our vehicles are displayed on including manufactures, J T Hughes company website and Auto trader.  This in time will include taking photographs and recording videos of our full vehicle stock, uploading and updating to each of the websites.  You will also be required to move vehicles on the premises, in the showroom, between Branches and our off site compounds and also to our Dealerships and complete customer Test Drives.

In time you will be trained to learn all of the entire Sales Processes.  We are looking for someone who would like to progress from the administration role into a fully trained Sales Executive who is looking for a long term career.

Skills required:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

Full Driving Licence

Excellent Communication & Customers Service Skills

Be of very Smart Appearance

Excellent Telephone Manner

Administration skills, being competent with computing/media technology and the ability to organise and prioritise work.

Highly motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative providing our customers with excellent service in the Showroom.

Be a Team Player with Bags of Personality and can take dealing with customers in their stride.
