Welshpool firm expands in Chester

Welshpool and Chester-based web company gloversure is fighting the Covid-19 pandemic by opening a brand new office to enable better social distancing when it’s safe to work from the office.

The move sees the firm, which offers website and custom software development, marketing and design services, establish a permanent office for its Chester-based team and has created five new jobs, with the potential for further growth.

Richard Glover-Davies, gloversure’s Managing Director, said: “We took several leaps of faith during the last recession and it paid off. Since the Covid-19 outbreak, we’ve purchased a building in Chester to become our permanent office in the city.”

The business has seen growth since establishing a team in Chester six years ago and the new investment on Hoole Road, near the train station, will pave the way for further expansion.

Mr Glover-Davies said: “The building is an open-plan office space with plenty of room, with space to further grow the team in a safe, socially distanced environment.”

Gloversure has also supported local businesses, by purchasing furnishings for their new offices locally.

“It's important during these uncertain times that businesses support each other and their teams as much as possible and that’s exactly what we try to do at gloversure,” he added.
