Town firm makes top 50 chart

A Welshpool company has been listed in a top 50 of fastest growing companies in Wales.

Invertek Drives Ltd. is dedicated to the design, manufacture and marketing of electronic variable speed drives for controlling electric motors. Its annual turnover has increased by 49.1%, placing it at number 49 in the Wales Fast Growth 50 (FG50).

The company’s products are sold globally through a network of distributors in 65 countries and it is based out of Offa's Dyke Business Park. Its latest annual turnover is published as more than £11m.

A Pwllheli laundry company took the top prize after it was revealed that Afonwen Laundry saw staggering growth figures of more than 2,000% over two years.
