Welshpool firm Best in Wales

 

GloverSure Ltd was awarded the Small Business Award at the Achievement Wales Business Awards.

 

Judges at the award ceremony, which was held at Bangor University, praised GloverSure as a good example of a thriving Welsh business that has enjoyed exceptional growth over recent years.

 

Owner Richard Glover-Davies (pictured), 29, said he was delighted to have won the prize, and proud to have put mid Wales on the map.

 

“I am absolutely delighted to have won, we have a great team at GloverSure, they work so hard and deliver outstanding work for our customers. I would like to thank our customers for recommending us so many times, this is what has made us grow and hence win this award".
 

Mr Glover-Davies said he is looking forward to 2012 and the completion of a new 7500 square foot commercial unit to rent out. He added the business is currently recruiting more staff:

 

“2012 is going to be a good year for GloverSure, by keeping prices affordable it allows us to expand, and mobile app development and SMS Marketing is a large growth area for us.”

 

Mr Glover-Davies has triumphed at the Powys Business Awards for two consecutive years and was a finalist in the Institute of Welsh Affairs Business Awards last month.
