With the self-assessment deadline fast approaching for tax returns to be lodged, accountants Turner Peachey on Welshpool High Street are opening their office from 9am-12noon on Saturday.
With the new, harsher penalty regime now in place and late lodgements receiving an across-the-board fine of £100, the extended opening hours will give clients more flexibility to complete their Tax Return before the January 31 deadline.
The company says it is not too late for anyone who has not yet filed a Tax Return and need assistance.
