Marston’s is just the job

 

The new pub and restaurant is being constructed at a rapid pace opposite Tesco with the building mainframe now up, and it has led to a surge in job enquiries to the mywelshpool business desk.

 

But the company has asked job seekers to be patient and to look out for banners soon.

 

A spokesperson told us last night: “Our new pub and restaurant will open in Welshpool towards the end of June. A recruitment banner will shortly be appearing at the site, as well as advertisements in the local press. We will be creating a significant number of new jobs and opportunities in the area.”

 

While the pub springs up on one side of the old Smithfield site, the other half is still awaiting approval from planners with a hotel chain believed to be interested.
