Top of the tax class

22/02/2013 @ 05:28

Two members of the tax team at Turner Peachey Chartered Accountants have been successful in qualifying exams of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, a leading professional body for tax advisers.

Holly Mayer has passed her final exams, and will shortly be a fully qualified Chartered Tax Adviser. Holly has been with the firm since 2010.

Kristi Middleton has also passed the first half of her Chartered Tax Adviser exams.  Even better, Kristi was awarded the medal for the best Advisory – Taxation of Individuals paper.  Out of 465 candidates nationally who sat this paper, Kristi was the only one to be awarded a distinction.

David Walker, Director of Tax, commented: "It‘s rare for exam prizes to go to employees outside the top 10 accountancy firms, so this really is a terrific achievement by Kristi and quite something for Turner Peachey to have a prizewinner. These results show how strong our tax team is.  I am thrilled for Holly and Kristi and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future."
