An interesting selection of farm antiques will be going under the hammer at a dispersal sale in Llanymynech on Friday.

The 6pm auction, at Llwyn-y-Groes Lodge, is being conducted by auctioneers Halls on behalf of Mr and Mrs Jeffrey Davies, who are retiring and have sold the property.

Among the interesting lots are a 1954 Ferguson T20 diesel tractor, a 1966 McCormick International B414 tractor, a very rare Massey Harris finger mower, a Ferguson original finger mower for a T20 tractor, an International B23 finger mower, an antique slurry timbrell, an antique Banford hay rake complete with seat and footplate and an International 440 baler with wide pick-up.

“The sale comprises an interesting and varied selection of items, including a good number of farm antiques which will no doubt appeal to a wide range of purchasers,” said auctioneer James Evans, manager of Halls’ Welshpool office.

The sale catalogue is available at http://hallsgb.com/auction/category/dispersal-sales/ .
