‘Superfast’ Welshpool workshop

Local businesses are being encouraged to participate in a special workshop designed to help them get the most out of superfast broadband technology.

Taking place at The Royal Oak Hotel on October 15, the workshop will provide all the information required for local businesses looking to capitalise on the upgrade in local infrastructure.

“This free workshop will provide practical, jargon free and realistic advice for business people,” said Powys County Council Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Councillor Avril York.

“Superfast technology is spreading throughout Powys and has the potential to save companies thousands of pounds, cut down on travelling times and increase sales opportunities. The workshop will help business get a clear understanding of how they can use Superfast Broadband to help grow profits - no matter what type of business they are in.”
