Welshpool-based Thomas, one of the top marksmen in Huws Grey Alliance, switched to title chasing Rhyl in a moneybags move in December but has endured some tough luck with injury which has hampered his progress.

 

While Guilsfield manager Russell Cadwallader has remained tight lipped on the possibility of his top scorer returning, sources close to the club confirm notice of approach has been served.

 

Meanwhile, Cadwallader has confirmed that he has missed out on signing in-demand Berriew centre half Ian Jones who looks set to remain with the Spar One side until the end of the season. Jones has been chased by a number of clubs this season but has remained loyal to Berriew.
