Old photographs of Ardwyn School needed ahead of closure

Staff at Ardwyn School are looking for help to compile a memory book for the school ahead of its closure in August.

The school will close as part of the new school transformation being set-up for Welshpool and is looking for pictures dating back to the 1951 opening to compile a memory book.

“We are looking for former staff, pupils and parents who have photographs to help us compile a memory book for the school,” said head teacher Yvonne Naylor.

The school hall will be open from today, Monday March 27 to Friday, March 31 between 3pm and 6pm for photographic memorabilia and comments to be collected which will be digitally collected so that photographs can be returned.
