Holiday activities at Museum

Powysland Museum is holding Easter holiday activities for children and families relating to animals, naturalist Gerald Durrell and its current exhibition, ‘Bones to Bronze, on April 11 and 20.

Children can make clay sculptures, paint and glue a picture, make a mask, a bird, a keyring and a sock puppet, amongst other things. 

The activities take place from 11.30am to 2pm and are aimed at children aged three years and above. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is £3 per child.

Parents are asked to book a place in advance by calling Tel: 01938 554656. The museum, located at The Canal Wharf,is open weekdays, except Wednesday, from 11am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm and on Saturday from 11am to 2pm.
