It’s ‘show’ time of year in Guilsfield and the village is preparing for a mass participation launch on Wednesday evening.
Following its hugely successful introduction last year, the eve-of-show fun run will take place once again with up to 200 runners expected.
Starting and finishing at the Kings Head, there will be two events, a 6pm run for the kids followed by the main 4.4-mile trail race from 6.30pm.
Runners are asked to turn up early to register and pay the race fees (£5 adults and £3 for kids).
“We want to invite the whole area to come and run or just show their support to make this a night to remember!” said a spokesperson, who added that they hope to welcome more than the 143 runners registered last year (pictured).
Guilsfield Show will then take place on Thursday.
