Fire cadets being recruited

Welshpool’s firefighters are on the look-out for its next generation of recruits who can sign up to a term-time course.

Welshpool Fire Cadets welcome new members aged between 12-16 years for a two-year course that is held every Monday evening between 6-7.30pm during term time.

Cadets learn all the basic skills of firefighting including climbing ladders, team work and first aid.
