Sid hits the big time in national magazine

Everyone at Welshpool Golf Club knows Sid the greenkeeper's dog but now the Border Collie has found international fame.

Sid follows owner Jon Gamble all over the hillside course but after being snapped on his favourite perch he's been featured as dog of the month in Greenkeeper International magazine.

Sid regularly takes a ride on the course John Deere gator and likes nothing better than getting his dirty paws on the trousers of smartly dressed golfers.

But the two-year-old hit the big time after Jon submitted his stunning picture of Sid perched on the highest point of The Golfa course to Greenkeeper International and he became December's featured dog.

"My dog loves nothing better than running and would beat Forrest Gump hands down," said Jon.
