Time capsules presented

Schools and organisations have presented time capsules to Welshpool Town Council which will be buried on the top of Red Bank.

Pupils from Ysgol Gymraeg v Trallwng and Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School joined Welshpool Womens Institute, Welshpool Royal British Legion the Town Council and the Ann Holloway Day Centre to present the time capsules to the Mayor, Councillor Steve Kaye.

Each group had put much thought in to what to include in their capsule ranging from newsletters to poems and a school t-shirt. These will hopefully be discovered 100+ years from now and will provide an insight into life in Welshpool today.
