Food Award for Golf Club

Welshpool Golf Club has been named Mid Wales Cafe/Bistro of the Year at the Welsh Food Awards.

At a presentation evening in Cardiff, Sara Jones, Stewardess of Welshpool Golf Club, received the award, just six months after taking over on November 1.

“The Club is very proud of Sara, and her award is thoroughly deserved,” said a spokesperson.

Non-members are always very welcome to the Club for food or drink, and of course to enjoy the fantastic views.
