Ysgol Feithrin Y Trallwng celebrated its 50th Birthday when almost 100 children joined in the celebrations.
Twenty-four of the Cylch children attended along with their families and 74 of Ysgol Gymraeg Y Trallwng children most of which attended the Cylch before starting school. Everyone sang Penblwydd Hapus conducted by Dewin, who then cut the cake.
Parents and children enjoyed looking at photos of the many children who have attended over the years, couple of generations in some families.
The Cylch would like to thank the New Street Trust for their donation helping with the cost of the event and the Horseshoe Inn, Berriew, the Kings Head, Guilsfield, the Green Dragon, Buttington and the Derwen garden centre for the kind raffle donations which raised £170 for the Cylch Meithrin.
The Cylch is a charity with an excellent reputation, offering 3+ Welsh medium early years education and 2+ Cylch Meithrin play sessions plus a thriving Ti a Fi Toddlers group.
