Each apprentice would be given a two-year fixed term contract and could lead to a permanent role at the end of that period.

Apprentice opportunities are available in: vehicle maintenance of the police fleet: IT; an administration role in the Business Support Unit; People Services (Human Resources); procurement; collaboration and efficiency and health and safety.

Chief Constable Mark Collins said: “This intake of apprentices is an exciting opportunity for young people wanting to work and learn, while earning a wage. There so many opportunities and different career paths available at Dyfed-Powys Police. We’re keen to put ourselves out there as an employer of choice within Wales and attract young minds who may not have thought of having a career with us previously.”
