High School fundraising

Welshpool High School is fundraising for its library. 

Years 7 and 8 will be taking part in a sponsored Readathon later in the term and there will also be a 'Make & Bake' craft and bakery sale in school in a couple of weeks' time which the students are busily preparing for.

The main event in school this week is the Coin Collage, and the school would welcome any support from the wider school community in completing this project. 

Hari Davies, Ellie Williams and Josh Wynne in year 9 have drawn an outline of the school logo and staff and pupils have already started to 'colour' it in with coppers and silvers.  The aim is to get enough 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p pieces to be able to cover the entire collage and use the money to go towards new computers and books in the library.  

If anyone in the community would like to get involved in this fundraising project, any coins would be gratefully received at the school's reception before the end of this school term.
