Kids play for business

A local company has supported the addition of a new facility at a local primary school.

Rural insurer, NFU Mutual, helped to fund the project for a play house at Llansantffraid Primary School through its Community Giving Fund.

Mrs Meinir Wyn Morris, Head Teacher at the school, said: “We are all so grateful to the NFU Mutual grant which has enabled us to purchase this fabulous Wendy house for our pupils to enjoy.”

Stephen Kenyon, Senior Partner at NFU Mutual Welshpool, added: “The NFU Mutual Community Giving Fund was set up in 2005 to support local community and educational initiatives. Grants are offered to support the running costs of various projects and services and I made Llansantffraid Primary School aware of this grant and in return they have been able to purchase this wonderful Wendy house that the children can now enjoy!”
