New York group to play Welshpool
As part of their European Tour, the Mirror Visions will perform Of Beasts and Brutes at The Methodist Church, High Street, from 7.30pm, as part of a series of concerts organised by Welshpool Music Club.
The group, which consists of soprano, tenor, baritone and piano, will take the audience on an imaginative journey through well-known and neglected pieces by composers such as Handel, Tchaikovsky and Poulenc set to texts by poets and historical figures.
Entry is free for members, but for non-members the charge is £10 (students £2) with tickets available at the door.
Tea/coffee and biscuits are available after the performance when there is an opportunity to meet the musicians.
