Guilsfield Show makes local donations

The 2018 Guilsfield Show Presidents, Chris and Robin Cooke, have presented Charity Awards to Wales Air Ambulance and Montgomeryshire Emergency Doctors (MEDS) to the value of £625 each.

The Committee also made a donation of £350 to the Guilsfield Community Council Defibrillator Appeal.

Wales Air Ambulance Mid Wales Community Fund Raising Manager Andrew Hall and MEDS Dr Ian Russell accepted the awards and thanked all involved for their generosity.

Show Chair, Matthew Kneale, said: “The fantastic weather and excellent local support on the show day coupled with the additional events such as the trail run, tractor rally, sheep dog trial and charity lunch have enabled us to support such worthwhile local causes.”

Guilsfield Show will be held on August 8 this year with the trail run the night before and evening music to conclude the show. The tractor rally is planned for early September.
