Fire station open day and duck race

Details have been released for Easter Monday’s fire station open day and duck race.

An annual favourite on the town’s social calendar, the day promises plenty of fun for the family with a chance to win £200!

The fire station will be open from 1pm where there will be games, a cake stall, raffle and refreshments.

The duck race will get underway from 3pm on the canal close by with 1200 ducks available to buy and funds going to Children with Cancer UK.

Ducks will be sold in Morrisons from 10am-2pm on Friday (19^th) and Saturday (20^th) and also in Tesco on Saturday (20^th) from 10am-2pm. Prizes for duck race are: 1. £200; 2. £100; 3. £50.
