Transport Festival this weekend

We’ve had music, poetry and literature over the past few weeks, and this weekend it is transport’s turn to put on a local festival.

On Saturday and Sunday, a host of attractions and activities will be held throughout the town to keep us entertained from fly pasts, boat trips, huskeys, vintage cars, model railway displays not to mention buskers, a mini-fairground and even free horse and cart trips to Powis Castle.

Most of the activities take place from 10am-4pm (Saturday) and 10am-3pm (Sunday).

Where’s it happening?

Church Street Car Park Area:

Vehicles (cars, lorries, farm etc)

Canal Boat Trips (free)

Horse Drawn Canal Boat Trips (£3)

Canoes and Paddleboarding (£3)

Corocal spinning and racing (free)

Fish and Chip Boat at 1pm each day (charge for food only)

Burger Van and Doughnuts

Procession of vehicles from this area at 11am both days and 2pm Saturday

There will buskers everywhere to entertain you.

Parking (Raven Square Station £3), Berriew Street Car Park (charges), Church Street Car Park (charges), main street (free) and livestock market (free for 1,000 cars and free bus service to the town)
