Celebration of licensee's life

Friends and family of a well-known former Welshpool licensee are being invited to attend a celebration of his life.

Steve Hopwood died at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on June 15 aged 66 and anyone who knew the former licensee of the Pinewood Tavern is invited to the celebration of his life at The Westwood Park Hotel on Saturday, July 6 at 2pm.

Anyone wishing to attend is advised that dress code is casual and the family ask that no black be worn. A private cremation takes place tomorrow (Wednesday).
