A glimpse into the Welshpool of years gone by will be provided courtesy of a History Day in the town this Saturday.
To be held in the Town Hall’s Corn Exchange from 10am-2pm, it will feature a number of display stands along with re-enactors in various costumes from Tudors to 1940s.
There will be a chance to read original newspapers and magazines covering topics like the end of World War 2, the Queen's Coronation, last newspapers of 1999 and much more.
Tea coffee & cakes will be available and admission is free.
