There’s (not) only one Matt and Molly!

A local couple had their moment in the national spotlight when they ‘appeared’ on Radio 1 this morning.

Popular morning DJ’s, Matt and Mollie, were set a ‘Listener Impossible’ challenge to “find another Matt and Mollie who are in the same room right now” to chat with them live on the show before 9.30am.

After a few fraudulent attempts from listeners to get on air, their call was answered by Molly Evans from Montgomery, who lives with her boyfriend, Matt, in Kerry (pictured).

There was just one problem, Matt was not with Molly when the DJ’s called due to him being at work, so they were eventually pipped by a father and daughter Matt and Mollie combination on the next call.

Nevertheless, she enjoyed a good chat with the pair and you can hear it here from 2 hours 19 minutes in.
