More than 1,000 people are expected for a lunch time protest at the doors of the Welsh Assembly on Tuesday as Montgomeryshire takes its fight against energy plans to Cardiff.
And mywelshpool has teamed up with the organisers of the giant rally to release final details of the day which has been branded as "historic" by key figures including Montgomeryshire MP Glyn Davies and TV Weathergirl Sian Lloyd who will be leading the rally.
Richard Bonfield, who has been spearheading the huge logistical operation, said: "This will be a big moment in the fight against these monstrous plans. The Welsh Assembly Government has to take note of the opinions of the majority of people in Mid Wales and our voice will be heard on Tuesday."
Four walkers have already set off on their 120-mile journey south and have reportedly made good progress so far. They will be greeted by the protesters in Cardiff before returning home on one of the 30 buses expected to be used.
