Spaces to give blood next week

Welshpool has stepped up admirably in recent months to save lives by giving blood, and there are still spaces left to do it again next week on Tuesday and Thursday.

Thanks to the amazing response by MyWelshpool readers, dozens of lives have been saved this year by the blood donated since we teamed up with the Welsh Blood Service to promote their local sessions.

And now they are back again, with spaces still available to fill, with two more days available in Llanfechain.

“We are still all going through very uncertain times, but one certainty we have here at The Welsh Blood Service is that the demand for blood doesn’t stop,” said a spokesperson.

“So we need to be reaching out to as many people as we can to let them know we are still visiting as many locations as we can to continue to keep our blood stocks healthy.”
