Eagle-eyed film buffs will have caught a glimpse of a young Forden actor in the highly rated film “To Olivia” on Sky Cinema on Friday.

Lewis Spencer a 24 year old actor from Forden played the part of a hospital orderly alongside the brilliant Keeley Hawes – the heart-breaking story behind Roald Dahl and actress Patricia Neal.

Lewis, the son of Ian and Amanda Spencer, caught the acting bug after playing Fred in his school’s production of A Christmas Carol and seeing a Welsh Hamlet at Theatr Clwyd.

He graduated in Drama and Theatre Arts at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, in 2018.

He joined the cast of The Original Theatre Company’s The Habit of Art as an understudy, performed with Tic Box Theatre touring schools, and played a manic Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Glastonbury Kidzfield Festival.

Lewis also has experience running drama workshops, directing, and devising shows with young people.
