As part of “The Summer of Fun” in association with Powys County Council, Boo Theatre will be bringing their outdoor show "Mimi and the Mysterious Mist" to Guilsfield, Montgomery and Llanfyllin next week.

"Mimi and the Mysterious Mist" is a free 40-minute show for ages three and up which explores friendship and community through a magical forest adventure, with music, songs and puppetry.

It will visit Guilsfield playing fields on August 10, Montgomery playing fields by Maldwyn Way the following day and then Llanfyllin Workhouse (Village Green) on August 13 with show times at 12 noon, 1.30pm and 3pm.

Those attending are encouraged to bring their chairs and a picnic!

Beth Wilcox from Boo Theatre, which aims to bring joy and laughter to children through the magic of timeless stories, said: “I’m so pleased to have Summer of Fun funding to bring this show to several venues in Powys. I am really passionate about bringing affordable theatre to the local community.”

Jill Kibble from Montgomery Town Council said, “It's so good to see events happening in the town again. This show will be great fun for the children after this strange year I am sure.”

The show is free, but because of limited capacity spaces must be reserved at www.bootheatre.com.
