Wildlife spot reopens

One of Welshpool’s favourite wildlife watching spots has reopened following the long Covid closure.

Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust is gradually returning to normality and said that its hide at Llyn Coed y Dinas is now open, offering the chance to observe some of the area’s fantastic wildlife.

“All visitors to the hide are encouraged to wear a face covering, especially if they are sharing the hide with other visitors,” a spokesperson said.

“The hide is not staffed so extra care should be taken when touching any of the surfaces and using hand sanitizer after visiting is advised.”

The location has become popular since it was created as part of the Welshpool bypass project nearly 30 years ago.
