Powys Councillors attendance figures during 2021
Recent stories surrounding the resignation of Powys Councillors from political parties have sparked readers to ask us to publish attendance figures at Powys County Council meetings.
We have taken the figures from Powys County Council’s website under Councillors Attendance Summary.
Today we show you councillors attendance figures for the last 12 months and the last six months. All the meetings have been held remotely on a “Teams” system with Covid restrictions preventing the council holding face-to-face meetings.
The tables show the amount of meetings councillors were “Expected” to attend as members of Full Council or Committees: The number of meetings councillors were “Present” at and the number councillors were in “Attendance” at out of personal interest for a topic being discussed, though not on that committee.
Councillors are expected to attend other meetings such as Member Development and Working Groups which are not included in the lists below.
