Superheroes raising money

The children at Leighton Primary School have become real life superheroes by raising money for a local worthy cause.

After learning all about what it takes to be a hero by looking at heroes in their local area, the children decided they would like to become real life heroes.

To do so, they decided they needed to help others in their community by raising money and after researching local good causes, they opted to support Open Door Family Centre where some of the pupils attended nursery. 

The children held their own fancy dress day where everyone, including those attending Leighton Baby and Toddler group, were invited to dress up as a hero. They also held a cake sale and raised a total of £110 for Open Door.
