Welshpool 10k gesture will go down a storm!

Welshpool 10k organisers have announced a 30% entry discount for the next week to help to lift the spirits following an awful week for the town.

The discount code – ADRENALINE 30 - will be valid until March 2 with organisers saying the entry field has already swelled to around 600 runners.

“It has been a really challenging week for the Welshpool area so we wanted to do this as a goodwill gesture,” said Alan Lewis, from Adrenaline Sporting Events.

The March 27 event, starting and finishing at the Town Hall and taking in the breathtaking scenery of Powis Castle and Park, is set to finally make its debut following two cancellations due to Covid-19.

It has received solid local support from businesses, with the two main sponsors, SJRoberts Construction and Lowfield Timber Frames, announcing that their runners will be raising funds for Shropshire Mental Health Support (https://shropshiremhs.com).
