MyWelshpoolTV: Winning back the tourism pound

In the latest of our MyWelshpoolTV Sunday video reports, we visited Lake Vyrnwy to discover that the cost of living crisis is having a major impact on visitor numbers.

But the good news is that one of the region’s favourite sporting events has been saved, despite doubts cast during the pandemic.

We met with the man behind the Welshpool and Newtown 10k events to see whether the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon can provide the helping hand that businesses so dearly need. We also chatted to one key local business (pictured).
