See your design ‘up in lights’

Budding designers in the Welshpool area are being invited to enter a competition that could see their work become a centre piece for the town’s Christmas celebrations.

Welshpool Town Council are again teaming up with Blachere to organise the ‘Design a Christmas Light’ competition.

The winning light will be selected by the Town Mayor and displayed on the Town Hall during the festive period. The winning design will be 'revealed' at the annual Winter Festival on Saturday, November 26.

Competition details and design sheets are available at the Welshpool Town Council offices (Triangle House, Union Street) or they can be collected from the Tourist Information Centre. 

Your design should include your name and contact details and the deadline is this Friday (August 5).
