Fun for all the Family!

 

The huge free event has been organised by Teller Promotions and will incorporate live music from some of the area’s top acts with family entertainment as well as a five-a-side football tournament. There is plenty of food and drink as well as a licensed bar provided.

 

“We are hoping that this will become an annual event for the whole of the town and surrounding communities to enjoy,” said Ben Picken, from the organisers.

 

One of the bands set for the Live Music Stage is Halflight led by Chris Cookson (right) who will use the occasion to showcase songs from new EP ‘Breathe’ which has already been played in front of packed houses in London venues.

 

“We are looking forward to seeing how the songs are received on Sunday,” said Chris who has performed with his band at festivals across the UK this summer.

 

Also on the bill is popular party band The Soul Jets, and Dai Robs and the Love who have just released their first single and video to rave reviews.
