If at first you don’t succeed....

You would have thought that failed attempts to make it on X-Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and The Voice would dampen any artist’s enthusiasm, but for one local singer it has only made her more determined.

Donna Davies is in the frame to be featured as a new unsigned artist on one of Britain’s biggest online radio stations, but she needs your help to get her past the post.

The 21-year-old from Llanwddyn, submitted her song – Virtual Domain – to www.offthechartradio.co.uk and is in the running to become their featured artist through a listeners' poll.

Voting ends on Sunday so to lend your support, simply follow http://www.offthechartradio.co.uk/nua/poll and vote for Donna Davies.

“I auditioned for the X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and The Voice but I didn’t make it which was very disappointing,” said Donna.

“I got involved in the poll by sending in my song Virtual Domain. They played it on the radio and it was added to the poll for listeners to vote for their favourite. It is for unsigned artists and, if successful, you get lots of radio play and publicity.”

Donna says her ambition is to become a successful performer and she has already recorded a number of songs in both English and Welsh. To see if she has what it takes, visit www.donnadavies.co.uk.
