Let’s get ready to pedal!

It’s become one of the social and sporting events of the year, and you’ve got just over a month to get in shape for it!

The annual Spinathon, organised by the fire fighters at Welshpool Fire Station, has been confirmed for May 19 and 100 bikes are now available to book.

Individuals or teams of up to four can book a bike for £30 with the event taking four hours and hosted at the Flash. Eight qualified instructors will be on hand to keep you going and all funds will be raised for Hope House.

“It’s a fun day and has been really well supported over the last three years by the people of Welshpool and the surrounding area,” said a spokesperson. “Bikes are booking up fast so the advice is to book one soon or risk missing out.”
