Whole lotta jazz going on!

The Royal Oak has brought us live local music on Friday nights and some top notch monthly comedy, now they are venturing into the world of jazz.

Tomorrow night (Thursday) the entertainment venue will host a meal experience evening of “Fine Wines, Sumptuous Food and Fantastic Live Jazz Music”.

The evening gets underway from 7pm with the The Swing Kats Trio performing some Retro Jazz from the vintage tunes of New Orleans, vaudeville pop songs from the 20's, 30's and swing tunes of the 40's.

Standards played by piano star Paul Sawtell, 'Creole' Clarinet by Jeff Matthews and rhythm bass by Dave Margaroni complete the line-up. The evening is restricted to just 36 people and tickets are available from the venue or call 01938 552217.
