Welshpool CD hits the shops

The compilation CD, which is set to become a popular stocking filler this Christmas, is now available in local shops and other outlets.

 

Welshpool (Collected) features 13 songs from 13 local artists and has already received huge national acclaim from renowned rock DJ Luke Wilkins of Kerrang! Radio fame.

 

It went on sale for £5 on line at www.tellerpromotions.co.uk on Saturday but is now available from Alexander’s, Pure Beauty and the Raven so far.

 

With postal services wilting under the winter weather and trips to Shrewsbury and further afield not advisable, the CD could well become a timely saviour for last minute shoppers.

 

Its compiler and promoter, Ben Picken, said: “We hope that people will show their support of local music by buying this CD and listening to the real talent that is close to home.”
