‘We’re doing this for Charlie and Tim’

The town has mourned the loss of two popular young men this year under separate and tragic circumstances, but one pair of siblings have decided to reach for the sky to pay a special tribute.

Sam and Sara Wildblood will be raising money by doing a 10,000ft skydive in memory of Tim James and Charlie Birch (pictured) who are sadly no longer with us.

Tim died in March at the age of just 41 after contracting sepsis, while 39-year-old Charlie’s well-documented July death following a hit-and-run in Cyprus is the subject of a murder trial to be held in January.

“Both were good friends of ours so we felt that we wanted to do something in their memory,” said Sara.

“We will be doing the parachute jump on November 10 to raise money for Charlie’s children and also for Sepsis UK on behalf of Tim.”
