Talbot targeted on dark night for town

Welshpool was hit by a crime wave last night after cars were broken into and graffiti was daubed across the front and side walls of the historical Talbot Inn.

It is feared that some sort of a smart key was used to access vehicles parked at The Flash last night between 7.15pm-7.45pm, with computer equipment and a drill among the items stolen. Police have confirmed that more cars in the area were also targeted.

Then this morning, the town woke up to dreadful graffiti covering the Talbot Inn, the second time the pub has been targeted within 12 months after windows were smashed last year in another mindless night-time attack. More paint has been sprayed onto a wall adjacent to The Green Dragon.
