The all-new Ford Focus ushers in a new era for technology, comfort, space and driving experience for Europe’s mid-size car customers.

This game-changer introduces a new human-centric design philosophy that fuses emotional exterior styling with class-leading aerodynamics; and delivers an interior that offers more space, combined with high quality materials and craftsmanship. 

The most sophisticated range of Ford driver assistance technologies ever offered to Ford customers is seamlessly integrated to enable an intuitive, stress-reducing and refined driving experience, which remains true to the nameplate’s 20-year legacy of class-leading driving dynamics. 

Powertrain options include powerful and fuel-efficient EcoBoost petrol and EcoBlue diesel engines, and a new eight-speed automatic transmission for ultimate cruising comfort. 

Unveiled in five-door hatchback, wagon and in selected markets four-door body styles, the most comprehensive Focus line-up ever is offered with different personalities, including the stylish Focus Titanium, sporty Focus ST-Line, upscale Focus Vignale and the first Focus Active crossover.

The different variants will be delivered in two phases starting with the popular Zetec, Titanium and ST-Lines followed by the Luxurious Vignale, Focus crossover Active and Performance ST. 

The all-new Focus introduces FordPass Connect on-board modem technology for customers in Europe, turning the vehicle into a mobile WiFi hotspot with connectivity for up to 10 devices. FordPass Connect also enables Live Traffic updates for the navigation system, and using the FordPass mobile app drivers can easily locate their car in sprawling shopping mall car parks, check fuel levels, remotely lock and unlock their car, and even start it remotely.

A new Wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones means drivers can wave goodbye to storing a tangle of charging cables in the centre console, and devices can remain connected via Bluetooth to Ford’s SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system while charging.

Compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™, SYNC 3 allows drivers to control audio, navigation and climate functions plus connected smartphones using pinch and swipe gestures on the 8-inch touchscreen, and simple voice commands. A new 675 watt B&O PLAY sound system helps occupants get the best from music streamed via FordPass Connect or smartphone.

Greenhous Ford Newtown kicked off the All-New Focus reveal by holding a special VIP Event at the beautiful Garthmyl Hall near Montgomery, the event gave guests the chance to get up close to the new vehicle and its technology.
