The return of the Vauxhall Viva

Newtown’s award-winning Vauxhall dealer is eagerly looking forward to welcoming a name from the past.

For being launched next summer is the Viva which Arthurs Vauxhall of Pool Road, Newtown, is confident will attract attention and engender curiosity.

The all-new five door Vauxhall Viva will be the latest addition to Vauxhall’s small car range that already includes the best selling fashionable ADAM and the ever popular Corsa Supermini.

The new car will revive memories of a model which was available from 1963-79 with more than 1.5 million Vivas being manufactured at Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port plant.

Said Arthurs Operations Manager Steve Hughes:  “This bold, original name will provide an exciting all-new small car which is being designed for modern, every day life. The new model will share the original one’s clean lines, durability and practicality.

“The new Viva will be attractively priced and will have a five door body style with either four or five seats. It will be well specified and come in a range of trims and equipment levels which we expect will produce great appeal in this rapidly growing sector of the market.”
