Wallets to help rail travellers

Making a rail journey can be a daunting affair if you are not used to letting the train take the strain but help is on the way.

Arriva Trains Wales guards will be looking out for anyone carrying an orange wallet, which signifies you may need help with your journey, and the wallets are now available from Welshpool’s Tourist Information Centre.

You can fill your wallet with credit card sized notes showing your destination or any other information and the guards will be on hand to help you.

To gain your orange wallet just call at the Welshpool Tourist Information Office and collect yours for free. They will even explain how it all works.
